1. Front Frame: Meticulous Craftsmanship for Stability & Fit
Material Cutting & Baking (Our Core Stability Process): Acetate sheets are first cut into precise rectangular blanks according to the design layout. They are then placed in our temperature-controlled ovens at 60°C. We implement a strict 10-day baking cycle (8 days of initial baking + 2 days of post-CNC baking) for thorough acid removal and material shrinkage. This fully stabilizes the material and prevents any future frame warping or deformation.
CNC Precision Molding: After the bridge area is hydraulically pressed, multi-axis CNC machines automatically shape the inner/outer rims and surface facets in a single pass. This ensures perfectly clean lines and high geometric symmetry.
Frame Bending & Shaping: The raw frames are heated, bent to the target base curve, and quickly cooled in water for shape fixation. This curvature is calibrated to fit the face naturally, providing a comfortable, pressure-free fit.
Multi-Stage Tumbling Polishing & Hand Finishing: The frames undergo a 3-day automatic barrel tumbling process utilizing customized wooden granules across rough, medium, and fine stages to smooth all sharp edges. Finally, our experienced artisans perform manual cloth-wheel polishing to achieve a high-gloss, mirror-like finish.
2. Eyewear Temples: Hidden Reinforcement for Longevity
The arms of the sunglasses undergo a parallel specialized production track to ensure structural integrity:
CNC Shaping & De-burring: Temples are CNC-profiled, pattern-stamped, and rough-polished to eliminate any manufacturing burrs.
Copper Core Pin Insertion: A 0.8–1.2mm copper core pin is heated and mechanically inserted into the acetate temple. Once cooled, this hidden metal skeleton provides superior toughness, allowing the temple to be anatomically adjusted without breaking or losing its shape.
Hinge Protection: Protective rubber sleeves are applied to the hinges during assembly to safeguard the premium electroplating from polishing compounds.
Fine Tuning: The temples go through hand-trimming, end-bending, surface-pressing, and a final fine polishing stage before the protective sleeves are removed.
